Return & cancellation policy

AfvalcontainersVergelijken.nl is a comparison and referral platform. Container rental and service delivery are provided by the supplier you choose. This policy explains cancellation, complaints and refunds in that context.

1. Not the same as returning a parcel

A delivered waste container is a rental and logistics service, not a standard consumer parcel. A “return” in the sense of sending an unused container back is not practical once the container has been delivered or placed. You can cancel before delivery or report a defect — see below.

2. Cancelling before placement or delivery

To cancel before the container is placed or delivered, contact the supplier you ordered from as soon as possible. Or email us at info@afvalcontainersvergelijken.nl with your name, email and order reference; we will forward it where needed. Whether cancellation is free depends on timing and supplier terms.

3. Payment and refunds

Payments follow our checkout flow (e.g. iDEAL). Any refund for a valid cancellation or dispute is handled by the supplier and/or via the payment provider, within applicable legal time limits. For questions about a specific payment you can also contact us; we will help identify the right party.

4. Incorrect delivery or defects

If the container was not delivered correctly, is damaged or does not match what was agreed, contact your supplier immediately. We expect suppliers to resolve complaints fairly (e.g. replacement or correction). If you cannot reach a solution, contact us at info@afvalcontainersvergelijken.nl with your details and a short description.

5. Statutory right of withdrawal (online purchases)

Consumer distance-selling rules may apply. For services performed on a specific date, exceptions can apply (e.g. if you expressly requested performance before the withdrawal period ends). If in doubt, check your order confirmation and supplier terms, or contact us.
